….and as with all outings with the wife’s family, she’s mad I don’t grab the spotlight and demand to be the center of attention. Her family besides her and her father are either narcissistic attention hogs, drunks, and/or both, why would I want to compete with that? Who wants to be that way? Why is that something I should be aiming for? She used to respect me for the fact that I remained in control and never made a fool of myself in front of people, now I’m resented for it.
