I still feel like I want to puke but at least the first part is over after an unplanned visit to my mother’s house over lunch. I thought I was going over for the apology session to Mara her mother and my mother but I walked into a group meeting Mara’s mother had called of all the cargivers. I could barely speak but Mara’s mother told me it eas all up to me and she was not going to break the ice for me to make kt easier. She simply said that Mara had told her that I had propositioned Mara for s** for extra cash and Mara bad immediately brought it to her attention. I was stinned but immediately realized that she was protecting her daughter to the others. I was on my own then. Of course all the caregivers talked to me like I was filth and I get it. They extended sympathies to my mother and Mara’s mother let that play out on its own, and only made a single comment about my mother obviously raising me poorly. When the others left, Mara’s mother told my mother that to make it up to my mother I was going to do the caregivkng for two weeks and that I would be paying the others while they had two weeks off. Mara”s mother also said that she would move in for two weeks to make sure I did what I should do. I am supposed to meet Mara’s mother there this evenimg after packing a bag for my two weeks of shame.
