While 99% of you are making baseless accusations that the s***** people in your life have NPD — given how most of you demonstrate you don’t even know the diagnostic criteria — we do not give abuse a special name just because the person who did it exhibits symptoms of a personality disorder. Narcissists are 100% capable of living without using their symptoms as an excuse to abuse people, and many of them wouldn’t want to anyway since it’s common for them to have developed it due to facing abuse as a child.
