I am a veteran us the US Military. In 2017 I got the VA to give me a 70% disability rating for PTSD. I went to Iraq twice but I was never in combat. The worst thing that happened to me was a few mortar round landed around me a good distance away. Anyways I have been getting around $1700/month since 2017. I just calculated the total. I have gotten over $70,000 so far in compensation. I feel extremely guilty and I do not have honor. I only did this at first, because I got fired from a job in 2016 and I needed to feed my kids and wife. My neighbor a veteran himself explained how I could get paid for life. So I went into the VA and got the process going. Anyways my marriage is s*** and my wife basically uses this money to pay our rent and her car payment I have never used this for fun and entertainment if you will on myself. I want to call the VA so bad and tell them to stop paying me this money. My family has become so used to this money that my life would be upside down with out it. Im going to hell for this one
