It was bound to happen. I have been doing it for a long time. I always feel a little bad but do it anyway. I guess I feel like I am entitled to a better __________. Something. Whatever it is. It is low and low down. I have been changing the price tags on my items from thrift stores for a long time, to save $. It’s often not items I need, but want. I don’t ever save that much I just shave a little off. Not every time, but often. It’s bad, wrong and really immature. I am too old to be doing this. Now it has stopped and I feel sick deep down about it because it took getting caught. I brushed lives with theft management. I got popped for $28 worth of stuff that should have been $35. So stupid and selfish. I deserve the awful punishment of being taken in the back, photographed, made to sign something, my license, address, everything recorded. I was charged with a civil offense. I will be fined but no record and I am not banned from the store. That’s good since I will need to shop there at some point. But not for awhile. Nope. I am cooking in my own heat of embarrassment. I am feeling the icky, icky feeling of being a human with a very bad trait.
