Friends mock me for being in my late 20s and moving back home with my parents. To me it is quite happy. Father was paralyzed in a car accident and is in a wheelchair permanently. At his request I moved in with them to help my mother care for him but also because he wanted her to have a functional man in her life and bed. She alternates whose bed she spends the night in. The running joke over father son morning coffee is when he says that he won’t bother asking us to keep the noise down because mom was always a noisy one in bed. The relationships are strong and solid, and the nights with her are incredible.
