“The Corvallis Difference” is that Phil Knight, with all of that Nike money, pumps it into the University of Oregon and all of their athletic facilities, while relatively small Oregon State, just 50 miles away, exists on its own, while attempting to woo student prospects despite of the giant money machine down the freeway.
