narc parents have a penchant for attaching to their genetically weakest child, and neglecting tf out of their innovator children…without fail. you’d think i’m talking about my case but i’m watching a brilliant guy break down several times a month to me about being neglected, and needing therapy, and his useless sister has had the presence of their father her entire life. But he’s doing the same thing to his sons; he’s super attached to one he will not acknowledge is neurodivergent.. to the point of neglect(child needs services). and has no relationship with his neurotypical son.
