The Pastors Daughter. I’m 16 years old. All 16 years of my life I’ve been raised by my parents. My dad is a pastor and my mother is the pastors wife. So I guess you could say I’ve been raised really strict. Never been allowed to hang out with my friends at the mall, beach, park.I’ve never even been to the movie theaters. But that doesn’t mean I’ve never ever had a little fun. Of course being raised so strict I fell into my rebellious phase when I started high school. Doing a whole lot of things behind my parents back that I knew I wasn’t suppose to do. Of course I regret it all but if it weren’t for my parents and the relationship we now hold.I’m secretly glad it all happened.by now I’ve figured out. I can’t. I can’t live with my parents. I just.can’t. Yes thanks mom and dad for raising me. I love you guys and you love me but ever since I’ve acknowledged life and felt life I just know being caged up under your house rules isn’t something for me. My spirit is too fun, free, wild, and willing-to-seek-new-experiences. That’s why I can’t wait till I graduate high school. To move out and enter college. Though I am fun, free, wild and willing-to-seek-new-experiences, I’m ambitious and I want to be successful in life. I want to complete school and support my family. My parents and I are too completely different minded people. I’m more independent and dominant. My parents carry the dominant trait-of course- and I never really get a say. I just want.to actually start! I’m so excited! Because all this time I’ve been alive I’ve never really been living. I pray God guides me on this soon to come journey and I pray for the relationship between my parents and I.
