I’ve been fighting with my boyfriend and he’s been giving me the silent treatment for several days. Last night at work, a boy came up to me, told me he thought i was really pretty and asked me for my number. I told him that I was in a relationship, so he asked me for my number again and said that it would be just as friends then. I was so flattered by his kind words, especially because of how awful my boyfriend has been treating me, that I gave it too him. We’ve been texting all day (nothing romantic) and this is the happiest I’ve felt in weeks, just talking to this guy. The only problem is I can’t shake the feeling that I’m cheating because I gave him my number, I feel so guilty.
