Ebay auctions are fun. A have a couple of week long auctions going, ending tonight.

The auctions are fun but they’re hit and miss. I’ll always low ball the starting bid which is what you need to do, it’s not $1, no reserve, but starting bid will be well below worth ($100 or slightly more in actual value, cost me $100, but are actually worth even more, I’ll start $50) and sometimes it just goes nuts at the end. It’s a gamble, but it’s fun. I have never had anything not sell Auction Style either. Every time and I break even. I end up with about what I paid even if it’s used. Paid $2400 for a guitar in 2011, it sat in my closet until 2017, put it on Ebay Auction for $1200 Starting, $2375 final bid. That was exciting, and it taught me to jump into that low ball philosophy. The least you would accept, take a chance and let them decide what it’s worth. I’ve tried Buy It Now, I’m never confident in that style. It’s worked, I have put something up Buy It Now before bed, woke up the next morning “sold!” but other times, more than a week, I’m impatient. With a week long Auction I know it will be gone, never sure of for how much but I have been shocked before. They’re actually fun.

I get kind of mad insane when a bidding war breaks out. I’m doing the pistols with my fingers at the screen going “cha ching mother fuckers, cha ching” standing on my chair. I’m an animal. These ones have the most views I’ve ever seen quite a few watchers, over in a few hours, I hope it goes nuts last minute. Weird time of the year to be selling though too.
