had two hand surgeries and got prescribed a ton of drugs. Only really truly needed them for pain management 2-3 days after, I always took it safely and as prescribed and stored the rest. Got into a horrible relationship with a deeply narcissistic engineer for about a year overlapping–all highs and lows. Who would have thought, taking them when I was trying to move on would actually work out. When they ran out, I moved on haven’t taken anything crazier than ibuprofen for cramps since. I was able to quit him and the drugs cold turkey. Ghosted him, lifes normal. opiates and love felt similar.
