Strange day. My dad called me down to his office to meet someone. I assumed it would be a potential client for my business. He wanted to introduce me (26M) to the receptionist (~20F). It was very obvious to both of us that he was looking to set us up; cordial none the less. Honestly a little surprised considering my parents and my perception of their expectations for me. 1. She’s not white. 2. No further education past HS. 3. I am cool with 1 and 2. She was cute. Conversation was OK but stymied because my dad was there. Updates if anything further comes out of this.
