Hello I am a boy in middle school, I have white dots on my fingernails and I am very ashamed and insecure about them. I usually try to hid my hands all together when I’m around people because I feel like they are going to make fun of me for them. Everyone I know has really nice fingernails so it makes me feel pretty bad knowing that my fingernails are ugly. I feel like if someone sees them it will drive them away and they won’t want to be friends with me anymore. I am feeling really down about the fact that I can’t do anything with my hands when people are around. I just need some advice or help with this, thanks

But people think my fingernails are cute tho so it doesn’t really bother me.

You could ask your doctor next time though or see a dermatologist if it’s really making you feel that bad
If someone is mean to you about it though… remember it’s not because you have these horrible hideous looking finger nails or something…. it’s because most people in middle school go through insecurity issues and they’re insecure about something too and want to take the focus off of themselves

yo im in the same boat. nobody really cares too much tho, and if they do they’re probably just an asshole. Don’t worry about it too much, they make your fingernails less boring lol
Heyyyy… don’t feel that way. out of the people I’ve met, there were only about a couple who I actually looked at their hands. Also, a lot of people have those white spots including me its not just you so it’s totally ok
