I swap tags at thrift stores all the time. The prices they charge for USED items are bloody ridiculous.

  • Many thrift stores use that money to pay for rehab and various things for underprivileged people. It’s not like the manager is making big bucks.

    • I either get a couple stickers that say 99 cents and stick them on the stuff I want. Or I remove the price tag completely go up to the register say this didn’t have a price and the employees usually say oh something like this is normally $3 and I paid $3 instead of five

  • That is definitely A Wild Experience. If you want to really get crazy, after you finished shopping, go out and get yourself a chili dog or a brat.

  • One time I went to a thrift store and they wanted $10 for book that was donated to them. I opened the book up and the price for the book new was $10 so I took off the price tag told the associate I couldn’t find one and he gave it to me for 99 fucking cents just like the other books.
