A few days ago, I remember talking with a priest of the church I live near, even though I was an atheist. And then I realized something while talking with that extremely religious man. If when you die and you enter a god’s glorious castle, or you become born as a new being, or whatever perceives as a religion, in every single religion, there is endless darkness at the bottom of each well. Each of these religions symbolizes happiness or contentment, and praise the idea of that what happens after death will be grand and wonderful, if you abide by the rules. But what some don’t seem to realize is that what happens in the religion will go on for eternity. In heaven, sure, there will be people there that you can socialize with and such, but staying there for eternity? Your mind will fade away since you’ve lived millions of years. You won’t be able to remember your life before. Consistent happiness, will not be happy. Eternity. Will. Be. Torture. Then I proceeded to punch the priest in the face and ran.
