So the other day I was waiting for the bus, and I noticed a black tote bag sitting dejectedly nearby. I had been having a rough day and, since there was no one around, decided to entertain my inner detective by taking a look at the contents. Inside there were a few random things but what really caught my attention was a locked bag with a zipper (kind of like the bag you use to take a deposit to a bank). There was no key, and at this point my curiosity kicked in big-time. I stuffed the bag in my briefcase and hopped on the bus. I couldn’t wait to get home and find out what was inside. I figured the best case scenario would be cash, and at the very least it would be a mysterious surprise. Well, when I got home I cut the bag open as the lock was rather secure. Inside were 14 vials of methadone! They are totally legit – the name of the doctor who prescribed them, the dose (50 mgs per vial – the red liquid to be taken orally).

So the guy who this was prescribed for either forgot and left them behind at the bus stop or something else happened that made him leave them. So this poor dude is out of his 2-week supply of methadone!

I am very curious as to what you would do if you found yourself in this situation. Would you turn the evidence over to the police, anonymously? Would you experiment with the drugs yourself? Would you try to sell them? Or something else entirely? I am torn! Please let me know, before the curiosity kills me…….
