I have told my parents that I want circus to be my profession but that’s only because I need to do exercise and having it as a job makes it cheaper than paying to go to a circus school/classes while doing another job on top of that. What I really want to do is Psychology. In particular, mental illnesses, how the mind works, and strange behaviors people exhibit. I want to study this far more than circus but I love circus so much and my parents have paid for a lot to help me get a better chance at succeeding with that goal that I don’t want to tell them. I also don’t have belief in my scholar abilities to come out of a psychology course successfully. I’m not going to tell my parents about this though.

However, I think that I might finish circus early and do a psychology course but would it be too late to start after my twenties?

I just would really like opinions about this and I’d like to know what other people would do in this position.
