I’m a mountain navigator in the Nepal region, born in Canada. Last year (2016) I left 4 inexperienced climbers near camp 3 on Everest so I could greet a second expedition of trekkers (who I personally knew) that were to arrive at camp 2 later that day. When we climbed back to camp 3 to meet my initial team, I learned they had moved on without me. One had died by the time I got there, the other three were considered missing until a European team found the sole survivor who described the death of the other two. He heavily blames me. I’m having trouble functioning since returning.
