I’ve been afraid that no one could love me. I’ve been worried that I was too flawed for the Gods to accept me. Last night, I accepted that, and today I was given a sense of peace. It’s been like this since I was a child, but in Their eyes, we’re all children still. I know that they will take me into their hearts, like a stone into a river-bed, and their love will wash over me until all that is rough inside of me grows smooth and even. In this way, I can become whole again.
