Hello Im 15 and my girlfriend is 17 ,we have been dating for 2 years and at the beginning of our relationship I lied and said I was 15 too when I was 13. This is probably just childish of me on my behalf and I know Im at fault…but it’s getting serious. I fear that if I tell her now she will be upset and leave me, and that if I keep it in she will only become more enraged for letting this secret lie dormant. I want to tell her but Im scared to lose her. I truly do love her which makes me even more paranoid about the chances of losing her. Ive known her for a quite some time now as friends before we entered a dating status and she’s always been there for me. Ive tried once to confess to her but she took it lightly as if it was a joke. In the end I lied and said it was, this guilt engulfs me everyday as time goes on. Sorry, Just had to get it out.

Tell her. It’s possible she knows, but it’s also possible that she doesn’t. By not telling her you are potentially putting her at risk of being labeled a sex offender depending on where you live. For example, if you live in a state/country where there’s zero tolerance for anyone above the age of 18 holding a sexual relationship with a minor, she could be placed on a sex offender registry even if the relationship was entirely consensual. Of course someone has to turn her in for that, but her knowing your age can help her know where she stands and how to steer the relationship.
Besides, even besides the potential legal issues, if you can’ trust her enough to tell her your real age then that’s not a genuine relationship. You don’t hide shit like that from someone that you claim that you love.

Dude. She’s probably talked to your friends/parents/etc and knows by now. Tell the fucking truth. If she dumps you over a two year age difference then she didn’t deserve you in the first place.
If things are getting serious you need to remember your 13 years old. Keep it in your pants! YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE GETTING A GIRL PREGNANT AT YOUR AGE.
