No one has ever told me that they love me. I know this sounds like a stupid sappy confession, but it’s true. I’ve never had parents or family. Unless you count being tossed around from foster home to foster home.

All I want, all I ever wanted was for someone to say that they’re proud of me and that they love me. I want to be able to stay in one place and feel safe there.Why is that too much to ask?
