Even though I have a full-time job and my wife has a part-time job, I’m the person in the household who does all of the cooking, most of the cleaning, all of the trash and recycling takeout, and all of the home maintenance projects. In addition, I do half the grocery shopping and my own half of the laundry. I get up for work at 5:00 AM, and my wife usually lies around in bed until after 9:00. Then she complains about how she doesn’t have enough time in the day to finish everything she wants to finish, which usually means that I finish her incomplete projects myself. Frankly, I’m really beginning to resent her.
