I moved in my dorm about 2 weeks ago. Freshmen can’t select roommates at my school so you have to hope you get someone that is cool and then if after a few weeks you don’t get along you can request a change but that’s not guaranteed. Well, the guy I have for a roomie has underarm odor that is a cross between a skunk and a dead mouse. I know he showers because, well, I’ve seen him in there. But when he gets back to our room after his last class and takes off his shirt, the smell is terrible. He showers again and still smells. I don’t think he knows how bad it is. The guys next door told me I should just tell him but we aren’t that tight yet. We haven’t really had a chance to get to know each other since his schedule and mine are way different. How do I approach this with him? There is another issue: even if he showers, his clothes still smell and it makes our room stink. Ideas?
