To condense years of bs, a bunch of friends stopped being a group of friends and years have passed since the fallout. There are still feelings of regret, missing people, and still hate for how things happened. I’ve tried my hardest to be above this and let all the negativity go.

So recently, my boyfriend told me he was in a mini argurant on FB status of a mutual old friend of ours. He was lamenting the past and issues of missing old friends. Needless to say it turned into a troll party, with my bf being blasted. I felt sickened that people I had hoped matured, were still the same sad sacks I always knew they were. I wanted to comment on the status, my bf insists I don’t say anything and be above it. What about what I think and say about it?

So here’s what I was going to say :

“Sometimes I want to see people burn in the flames of their selfishness, blind entitlement, and stupidity. There’s a fine line between self confidence and self righteousness. If you haven’t figured it out by now, I’ve lost faith in you. Your failures will continue to support my point. I’ve been too focused on moving as far away from who I once was, that to see people still wallowing in their pathetic b*******, makes me not only question if I’ve lost too much of myself? or am I so beyond the ignorance?”
