My partner of 9 years is depressed and I want to be there for him but he is secretly talking to another woman and lying about it. He left a chat open where he thought I was ‘ walking on egg shells around him.’ I confronted him and at first he denied it but eventually said he could talk to her as she knows how he is feeling. He also said he loved me and is trying to cope and didn’t mean to upset me. I’m just so lost and confused and I can’t stop crying which is making everything even worse. My perfect sandcastle has been swept away with the tide and I’m not sure that I am strong enough to rebuild it.
