I usually go to the grocery store every day. I have young children, and it gives me something to do with them between their afternoon naps and dinner. I stick out in a crowd – I’m 6’6″ and 300 pounds. I used to be in football-player shape, but thanks to the kids, it’s gone downhill fast. Anyway, I’m not exactly a chick magnet. But people remember me.
Tonight I went to the grocery store without the children, because they were asleep. Three of the cashiers asked me where my children were. They said they look forward to seeing me and my children every day. That made me feel pretty good, but then it got a lot better. One cashier kept talking to me. She even began flirting with me and insisted on walking with me to my car. She said she “needed some air”.
I have, in all of my 36 years, never actually had a woman openly flirt with me like that. And she was hott. I thought she might have been college-aged. But then, during our conversation, she dropped a bombshell: She’s about to start her senior year of high school. She’s only 17.
I politely ended the conversation there. But it got me thinking. What could possibly cause a beautiful young woman to flirt with a middle-aged, married-with-children ogre like myself? I’m seriously thinking she might have lost a bet, and it was some sort of set-up at my expense.
