My mom is so negative. I’ve given up on trying to work out my problems with her because it’s like beating a dead horse. Going out in public with her is draining, her nagar ivory s**** the positivity and energy out of me like a vaccume. Sometimes I want to say “My god, now I know why you’ve always been alone.” It’s not just because of the negativity, she has other problems. Beings around her at the house is like rotating around a cancerous toxic slug that sits on the couch every day. And when you tell her that she isn’t doing anything but procrastinating she gets angry. She doesn’t make sense anymore. Her words, actions. I always c*** my head to the side after listening to her. F you aren’t on medication to control your blood pressure and your having pains in your eyes and continuous cramps in your leg that render your immobile you seek out a medical center if you don’t have insurance. If your always spilling over your drinks on the rug and it’s making the living room smell like a wet dog , you look for someone to assemble the coffee table that you purchased and is now collecting dust in the back of the living room. Don’t sit there and get angry at me whenever I accidently knock over your drinks. They shouldn’t be there to begin with. If you want to have a support system then you seek out senior centers in your area if you’ve had no luck finding decent people to socialize with at the local churches. You say you don’t want to go because you’ll be surrounded by a bunch of old people. ? Uh, hello you’re pushing 65. There’s nothing wrong with that. Fine, suffer in silence on your couch when another tragedy happens. Internalize it and don’t reach out to anyone. Do exactly what you’ve been doing for the past 50 years. If the cats are continuously scratching and damaging the sides of the couches you’ve only had for a year, you go out and buy couch covers. Don’t yell at the cats on a daily basis. You say their “getting too old to be scratching the couch”. If you would educate yourself on cat behavior, you would find that cats will scratch at any age because they don’t have a proper scratching post. Why obsessively clean one area of your house and completely ignore the rest that smells like crap. Why buy all these sweets we. You have advanced gingivitis and your teeth are falling out just about daily ?. Ugh, even after typing all this I’m starting to feel negative.
