I’m a middle aged married man. Today I had a discussion with my mom. She asked me if I had ever thought about having children when marrying my wife of 15+ years. I told her that I do now. My wife who is older than me cannot have children. I kind of feel guilty and contempt for not having a child to carry the family name. I don’t like the thought of starting a relationship with a young 20 something and end up in a worse position. God please give me some clarity.
