I love my friends, but it gets lonely sometimes being the only Christian in our group. I don’t preach to them or try to change their beliefs. I never even talk about it at all. But it bothers me when they start making fun of my religion, like they don’t realize that it might hurt my feelings. They don’t tease me directly, but they make fun of other “red neck Christians,” while knowing I’m from the South and very firm in my faith. I never mock them for being pagan, wiccan, or atheist. I guess they just don’t respect me.
