I came out as gay a few days ago. At first, my parents both just denied it, but now they’re ignoring me. My three older brothers are completely supportive in the way we’re all supportive of each other in different things, they all tease me about it but never say anything is wrong with it. They say simple things, like “One less person I have to worry about stealing my girlfriend!” or will just make jokes that aren’t offensive. Last night when we were watching TV, I laughed at something a guy said and my mother f****** growled, “What? Are you going to say you have a crush on him?” And two of my brothers who were out there said at the same time, “I have a crush on him.” My mother turned the TV off and left.
