So my dad drinks and it causes him to fall. My sister constantly yells at him about it (while he’s drunk because she’s f****** stupid) and it’s annoying as hell. That obviously causes him to drink more, which is a problem. He says he will quit, and maybe he doesn’t drink for a few days, but then he finds an excuse to do it again, and that triggers it. My mom has offered to also quit, though she doesn’t get drunk as bad as he does, and usually she’s too weak to stop as well, so they both start drinking again. I personally find it unfair that she should get to drink and he shouldn’t, and I want them both to quit, but mainly him. I don’t yell at him for it because I have common sense, but my sister has been doing things to get out of the house, and my mom works (which he doesn’t -_-) so I’m usually left alone in the house with him. He’s no abusive or anything. He’s just annoying and keeps hurting himself. He fell once today and I helped him to the couch, but he keeps getting back up, causing me to run upstairs (since I spend most of my time downstairs) to stop him from falling again, which he continuously almost has… TWICE!!! I’m officially fed up. He doesn’t want me telling my sister or my mom, and yaknow what? I don’t want to tell them either. If I tell my sister, she’s gonna get all pissy about it at yell at him while he’s drunk again, and if I tell my mom, she’s just gonna tell my sister or try to talk to him about it, and my sister, being the nosy b**** that she is, is going to “overhear” it and then yell at him. And usually these arguments solve NOTHING. Oh, I’m sorry, did I say usually? My bad. I just want him to quit f****** drinking. Please tell me peaceful ways to get him to stop.
