I told my parents last night that I was gay, but they don’t believe me. They say I just haven’t grown into myself yet. I think I would know better than them… I’ve known for almost 10 years and I’m 22. They say they don’t care either way if I am or not, and I believe that, or else I wouldn’t have come out. It was a big deal for me to come out, it still took a lot of courage, and for them to turn around and tell me they don’t believe me, it really upsets me.
