I wore cat ears for Halloween at my school because I could imitate a cat perfectly. One of the deans got into the habit of calling me “kitty.” He is NOT rude at all and doesn’t make me feel uncomfortable but now that I’m a little older I feel like certain people might perceive the name differently. Is the nickname “kitty” even bad? I just wanted to know how to ask him to stop without being disrespectful of making it seem like well… I don’t know I just want to take the s***** reference out of it, god why can’t people leave a cat a cat and keep their disgusting perverted stuff out
I was thinking I could tell him, (it’s the end of the school year) “I’m going to be in the 11th grade next year so I want to be more professional and have everyone call me by my actual name…” you think that would work?
