Every day I glance in the mirror and I can’t help but think I’m gaining weight. My face looks thicker and my thighs seem to grow. I feel like I just keep adding on the pounds but in reality I have went down 2 pant sizes in about 3 months. The scale claims I’ve lost 10 more pounds. So why does the mirror lie to me? It whispers that I am just a giant tub of lard and I need to stop eating. My body agrees. I take one bite and I either have to force myself to swallow or just sneakily spit it out when no one is looking. I occasionally can get through a whole meal without gagging but then my tummy begins to turn; sometimes forcing me to throw up every piece of food I consumed. I always tried to ignore everyone around me that called me overweight and pointed out all my flaws but I guess over the years I have started to believe them. I wonder if I’ll ever be happy with my size and weight or if it will be an endless war til I’m forced to stop my nasty habits.. Hmm..
