I have no sympathy for the 5s that hold out for 8-10s. On either side.

Give up the unrealistic standards and realize that, next to you, is a living, breathing, feeling, sweating, human being with their own motivations and hobbies and quite possibly just as damn lonely. You’re no prize, neither are they, but do you want a relationship comprised of an emotional connection or something based on shallow physical attraction that’s just as likely to flip away again when one of you falls in lust with somebody else?

Take a chance, talk to somebody less than ‘perfect’. Drop the revenge and firearms and take up a conversation instead. Even if it doesn’t work out with that one, keep trying.
