I’m scared. It’s so much easier to just hide inside and let things stay the way they are. Trying to fix problems takes effort, and leaving the safety of home, and stepping out into the unknown and not knowing if I’ll fail or succeed. I hate myself for being such a coward, for being so lazy and unwilling to try. In many ways it’s my own fault I’m almost blind, because I haven’t done everything I could to get my eyes fixed.
