I was lying in bed trying to sleep and I heard something in the kitchen. I got up to see what it was, and it turns out my cat was on the side of the kitchen sink, chasing two huge cockroaches around the sink. I guess they got in there after some food crumbs.

This is the 3rd time recently I’ve seen these mammoth creepy crawly monsters in my kitchen in the last few days. I feel disgusting. I’ve tried to keep a clean house since moving out of my mom’s house (which was absolutely filthy no matter how hard I cleaned, no one else ever did). I guess I’m not cleaning enough??

I can’t believe it but I’m losing sleep over this. We can’t afford an extermination service, but I don’t know how to fight these evil bugs. Anything strong enough to nix them would be dangerous to my two indoor cats. What do I do? Ugh, I get heebie-jeebies just thinking about it. I hate roaches! I can deal with spiders, bees, wasps, frogs, lizards even snakes… but I HATE roaches!!!!!
