Since a very young age, I’ve always been able to befriend ANY animal. Timid, angry, whatever. I’m an animal lover and I believe I love my pets more than anyone i’ll ever meet. In short, my dogs are the best. They tell me when i’m in danger, wake me up for work, eat dinner with me, and even make me get my daily dose sunlight with a morning and afternoon walk. They can tell weather the people I bring over are assholes or not. They only growl at assholes.
Whenever I have a s***** day, they can tell. They come see me all excited but once they realize i’m down, they tone down their excitement and just lay down and rest their head next to me until I get back up.
They keep guard of the bathroom door while I poop, just as I keep a look out for them while they poop outside.
When they’re hungry, they bring me their bowls and patiently leave it at my feet for kibbles. I don’t like giving them kibbles. I don’t want to eat kibbles so why would they? I try to give them my food when it’s good for them. As in i’ll cook dinners that are both people and pet friendly. Stir fry for example? Kibbles are sick, I KNOW.
They don’t complain, judge, hold grudges. There’s just no stress in communicating with them. They understand many different human commands, and I know many different dog commands. It’s easy.
I just can’t understand people the way I understand animals. Animals are so straight forward with their body actions and sounds, yet people are so superficial and always seem to put up a show. Why bother! I’m so tired of trying to figure them out and mold myself to work with the other person. I’m real, why can’t others be real?
Until then, it’s just me and my dogs, and I don’t mind that one bit.
