They say home is where you feel good, where you can be you, and where you can relax. I did experience it at some point. But that was when my father was alive. Ever since he died I experienced life in a hard way. I was left with nobody but liars. I remember the day of his funeral, I was nine then, and I was crying, they all came up to me lying, saying stuff like I will be a father to you, I love you, etc. Love? What they truly want is a maid and a dog that they can control; a puppet. They’re making me feel bad for resembling my mother like it was something I can control. They are always rubbing the fact that I depend on them every day. I was only 11 when my aunty told me that I don’t deserve anything, that it would have been better if I died instead of my father, and that everything they are doing is for him( my dad). My mom is the only one by my side and I know she is suffering just as much. She told me to do everything I can to be independent, and not to expect anything from anyone. People love it when they have others weaker than them so they feel powerful.
