Oh yeah, I need to make a correction from yesterday, as an STP fan, a true fan from the start, regardless of any flack I may have taken, they were not like any other hand, they definitely weren’t Pearl Jam, if anything they were most like Alice In Chains (On Core) and I don’t think it was intentional.

But the last Album was not No. 4 it was the forgettable (to me) Shanglila(something or other di-da?) and it’s not bad, Days Of The Week was a melodic rock song with a good groove. That was at a time when music for me was becoming less of an obsession, and I was concentrating on other things that were more practical to life. I cod listen to s*** I would not have in the past. Easy rock stations, pop, modern past, and not really judge it because I didn’t really care, but No. 5 ain’t the other 4 albums. Tiny Songs Tales From A Vatican Gift Shop (3rd album) was also not the greatest, it has its moments, Big Bang Baby is cool. It felt 70’s, it looked 70’s in the video. it has its moments I guess, Core and No 4 was great IMO. I bought that cassette intentionally to bring with me when I went on 800 km journeys to auto auctions with my uncle. I’d drive the car back home and usually there was a cassette deck. More often than a CD player and USB was unheard of in a vehicle. So I bought my last tapes for than reason. I had a genuine Sony Walkman at the time too. It was high quality and cassette tape tech was as good as it could be right then for like $30. It was like Dark Metallic Blue, small, compact. The format was dying, last breaths it was dying. I bought those tapes it was literally some of the last tapes in the record store it was crazy small space of the store. Wicked driving album. It’s easy hear and Scott Weiland was going through s*** with a relationship done. Gone. He’s pissed at his ex at times (You’re just a little b**** I cared about “S** And Violence”) but then he’s next song he’s approaching it different toned down. It’s a roller coaster ride. On top of all the other s***, drugs. The band rocks. I dig that style of rock. Awesome musicians.
