Everything we were warned about climate change is coming true, and I really don’t care. I remember going through these environmentalism units year after year when I was in school in the 80s and 90s. They all said that if things didn’t change in the next 20 years, it would be too late. Now I see those changes, and I honestly feel so powerless to stop it, and so wrapped-up in trying to support my family, that I just don’t care. Sure, I recycle, but only because it requires no extra effort on my part. I tried buying things from bulk bins, to reduce how much packaging I throw away, but that got real old real quick.

I’m just going to try to be happy for the rest of my years, and let the next generation deal with this.
