I feel guilt and sadness. I have divorced parents and they live in separate houses and such. Which didn’t affect me except when they fought. Recently my dad got a girlfriend, and my mom wouldn’t care usually, but in this case it’s a girl she doesn’t like. I haven’t been told why she doesn’t like her but she just really doesn’t. And knowing my mom you must’ve done a lot of s*** to be talked down by her. So, anyway his gf moves in right? Right. He doesn’t tell my mom and for a few weeks I was debating if I should. Soon enough I felt guilty for not saying anything and told her. She had a word with my dad about it but we still went over his house for a week. I had an allergic reaction, and since my dad has a hard time showing affection or showing that he cares in general + not having any medical knowledge he didn’t take it seriously. My mom is a nurse so she picked me up and took care of me. I went to the hospital and got medicine to take for a week to help with swelling and what not. I was dropped off and my dad was told to pick up the medicine since my mom didn’t have enough time. My mom told him the place closed at 8 but he decided to get there at 8 which started to piss off my mom for obvious reasons. 1 because he should’ve just waited in line instead of going later, and then when he could’ve got the medicine he didn’t get it because he apparently had some at home. My mom is worried and it’s serious so I understand my mom. They obviously fought and cursed and my mom ended up picking me up and taking me to her house. I already wanted to cry leaving my little brother, but seeing them fight over me hurts. I feel guilty for even starting it by telling my mom about the girl which she had every right to know because she’s living in the house we stay in along with her daughter. And then he isn’t doing the best job taking care of my medical needs at the moment. I know it’s not my fault but it feels like it. I cried over it and texted my dad that I loved him to make sure he was okay, and he ended up calling me and saying it back and talking to me about it (he rarely says it back even though I say it everytime unless I’m sick, sad, or in danger) So hearing that alone made me cry, and it also lets me know he cares. He might be a bit stupid sometimes, but at least he misses us and loves us. I just hope they get along, I hate seeing them like this, and my half swollen face isn’t helping.
