Goodness gracious – she’s not a bad person and just because a person has made questionable choices, it does not mean that they are manipulative, dangerous, or whatever. I have literally been where she is – granted, under difference circumstances. Not every situation can be the same. Just because a person has made “poor choices” does not define them at all. Shame on you.
