My husband’s coworker stole a check out of his checkbook and forged his signature for $500.00 but we’re afraid to go to the police. We’re afraid that this guy or his friends might try to harm us. We don’t trust the local law enforcement to protect us. People say we’re stupid for not doing anything, but… we’re afraid. Sigh. I hate being a coward.
