I used to be that teenage girl with the loudest laugh, greatest friends, excellent grades and loving family. But since my dad left for another woman and made us got kicked out from our old house, everything’s changed. I used to be that girl who own expensive things, who shops new clothes minimum twice a week, the first one to ever bought a brand new phone. But now we become so poor we can’t even afford to buy a new toothpaste. I moved to another school and I have to work harder to stay focus on my grades. (I’ve never worked this hard before because it’s easier to learn when I’m happy) I can’t socialize well. My confidence are somehow gone, my classmate think I’m weird and annoying. My mom has to work 12 hours a day to pay the bills. My dad sent my 11 years old brother to a boarding school (not a really good one) and never give him pocket money so my mom has to. Between school and life, I feel so depressed. I can’t cry and get it off my chest so it feels like I choked inside with tears. I don’t have a boyfriend (never dated anyone too), can’t talk to school counselor, or pastor since I’m not christian. I cut myself and then tell my bestfriend about it but she laughs and thinks I’m joking, when I tell her I’m not, she said that I was a little bit over the top, that this isn’t me. She judge me. And I judge myself too because I never thought I’d be this kind of girl.
Sorry if it sounds like I brag about my life, I just need to let this out somewhere.
