A WARNING to anyone who has made friends with someone online. Don’t let your life depend on the internet. Don’t let your whole world revolve around writing rpgs, fanfiction communities, or any such thing. Because one day you’ll get over it and grow out of it, and if you’ve made close friends with someone online they’re not going to let you go easily. If you’re like me you won’t be able to end it.

Ugh. I’m so sick of you. I should have just pretended our internet was out again. Why am I so damn weak? You live hundreds of miles away and I only talk to you online and via text. It would be so easy to just cut you off. Just send you one final email, “Hey, I can’t take this friendship anymore. I’m sorry but please don’t contact me anymore.”

The reason is because you’re really crazy. I was stupid and you have my address and phone number. And I worry about what you might do. I worry you might cause some harm to my family somehow. I know you’re the queen of making ‘phone calls’ when you don’t get your way. Will you make a phone call to the gov about my husband? He hasnt done anything wrong but I wouldnt put it past you to lie for revenge to make me suffer. Will you be calling and messaging my other family members and harassing them? Sigh. I actually fantasize about the day I finally tell you off and kick you out of my life, but I know I’ll never have the courage. I was hoping we would be able to just gradually drift apart but you’ve got your claws in me deep. you won’t let it happen. you’re obsessed.

I regret ever putting so much into our online friendship. I wish, oh I wish I never had ever begun spending time in those forums. We were good friends for maybe four years, then I began to have a life of my own that didn’t revolve around spending HOURS online every single day chatting with you, and you got jealous. Your true colors showed, and I hate you more every day.
