As I have mentioned I recently thrown away an old hospital receiving blanket that I have had since I was born. I am now mourning it??? Part of me regrets doing it since I have some nostalgic feelings to it (there are pics of me as a newborn with it), but it was old, faded, and yellowed (it used to be white) and it has a musty smell that washing does not get rid of. This is nearly 30 year old fabric that I’m talking about. I have replaced it with new soft and plush baby blankets that I really love, but I can’t seem to get my mind over my old blanket.

I know people with disabilities can’t help it. I’m not trying to be cruel but social media needs to hide the videos because those with severe malformations look incredibly creepy.
