I’m so sorry you had bad experiences with other gay people and hearing you’ve been getting a lot of death threats from them. I don’t believe it’s ever okay to wish death upon someone who thinks differently and holds different beliefs. That’s extreme and considered poor taste. The people you came across don’t know how to articulate to save their lives. It’s not your fault that they take everything so personal and that they’re stuck in their bubble. It’s not your fault that they’re so close minded and sheltered. They also have never heard of the phrase “Treat others as how you want to be treated”.
