Someone asked me what I thought about homosexuality. First things first: I admit that I am a young person, not nearly fully educated in either my faith life or knowledge of the subject. As such, I don’t really feel like an authority on the morality of it, but here’s what I know for sure: 85% of non-Christians think that Christians are judgmental. The church has spent so much time wrestling with the morality of it that we have forgotten that gay teenagers are killing themselves because they aren’t accepted, and, as people of Christ, we should follow Christ’s teaching of love. All I can do is say that I love people because they are all mirrored prints of the image of God.
